Hello everyone! My name is Oorja Chari and I am a final year law student, pursuing my LLB from Government Law College, Mumbai. I am very passionate about corporate law and hope that through my blog posts, I am able to simplify concepts pertaining to Indian company law.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Awareness is one of the essential ingredients of developing belief. Being aware will give you an insight into your beliefs and whether they are positive or in fact are holding you back. In the words of the Viatnamese monk, Thich
Nhat Hanh, “Awareness is like the sun. When it shines on things, they are transformed.” My vision, as a budding lawyer, is to bring about an awareness about corporate legal issues that greatly impact our economy and to encourage a healthy flow of opinions amongst people on the same. Until we open a dialogue on such pressing issues, we can never fully understand the impact that company law has on the financial sector of our country. My goal is to demistify the complex concepts of law and present to readers, a concise summary of various aspects of company law in India.
